‘Shooting an Elephant and Other Essays’

This is my review of Decline of the English Murder as well as Shooting an Elephant and Other Essays by George Orwell, a varied collection of written pieces in which the author, among other topics, discusses political issues, theoretical analyses and historical events. The former was first published in 1946, the latter following four years later.
